LEE COUNTY, AL (WTVM) -

Torrien Shane Sanders, 21, of Valley, Ala., is now in custody after Lee County officials say he burglarized a home, stealing property on the 12000 block of Lee Road 279 in Beulah, Ala.

The Lee County Sheriff's Office received an alarm activation call at around 1 p.m. on Monday, March 31. Responding officers found the home had been broken into and property had been stolen.

A home security camera system installed by the owner captured images of the suspect and the suspect vehicle on video.  Soon, Lee County Deputies located the suspect in the vehicle. The driver was identified as Sanders, and a passenger was identified as 23-year-old Thomas Brent Starkey of Beulah.

Lee County officials say deputies and investigators found additional evidence located inside the vehicle linking Sanders to the crime.

Sanders is charged with Burglary in the Third Degree and Theft of Property in the Third Degree. He is currently being held in the Lee County Detention Facility on a $4000 bond.

The passenger in the vehicle, Starkey, was also arrested on an outstanding FTA Youthful Offender warrant. He is being held without bond.

This case is still under investigation. If you any information about this case or any other case please call the Lee County Sheriff's Office at 1-334-749-5651 or Lee County Crime Stoppers at 1-888-555-7847.
