Texarkana police make two arrests in daytime home burglary

TEXARKANA, AR (KSLA) -

Two men are behind bars Wednesday after an alert neighbor allegedly spotted them breaking into a home in Texarkana, AR.

It all started in the 1100 block of E. 34th Street. A neighbor was able to get a description of the car the two were driving and police found it a couple miles away at 24th Street and State Line Avenue. Inside they found several flat screen TVs, that Texarkana police said were stolen.

Police also said that there have been a number of daytime burglaries in the area and the main items stolen are flat screen TVs.

Sgt. Det. James Atchley said he hopes Wednesday's arrests will help them solve some of their other cases, which could be related.
