Columbus police car collides with civilian vehicle

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -

A Columbus police vehicle crashed into a civilian Chrysler 300 last night, April 4, at the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. and Havenbrook Ct.

Police say the officer was not injured. Three passengers in the Chrysler went to a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

Officials say the officer was responding to a call for backup at a traffic stop, and the officer's emergency lights were activated.
