FT. PAYNE, AL (WAFF) -

Two fun and educational events will be held at Little River Canyon Center in Fort Payne on April 12.

Bunny-Palooza: Spring Fest for Children will start at 10:30 a.m. At the Bunny Factory, children will be magically turned into bunnies and learn all the basics, from how to hop to decorating eggs. Children will also be able to visit the Children's Spring Art Show, listen to stories and music, visit baby animals and play bunny games. There will also be an egg hunt with prizes. The festivities will last until 4 p.m., and the event is free and open to everyone.

Growing Up WILD and Living Wild: Fairy Houses will start at the center at 1:30 p.m. and last until 3:30 p.m. Renee Morrison of JSU Field Schools will teach children to be creative and use their observational skills at a fun fairy-house building workshop. There will be stories about fairies, the Easter Bunny and more. This program is also free.

For more information on any of these events, please call (256) 782-5697. Space may be limited, so pre-registration is encouraged.
