St. Patrick’s Catholic School hosts 3rd annual Paddy-Palooza

PHENIX CITY, AL (WTVM) - St. Patrick's Catholic School in Phenix City celebrated their third annual Paddy-Palooza event Saturday April 5.

Several motorcycle clubs and other East Alabama community members turned out for the event, raising thousands of dollars to help rebuild what the school has lost.

"This is our new building," explained teacher Kelli Rust. "Our old building burned down in 2010, and we've been raising funds. Moneys from this event every year go toward helping out new building fund. And finally, as you see, we've made progress, it'll be done next month, and we'll be moving in over the summer."

The all day Paddy-Palooza event included a motorcycle ride, a 5K run, food, a Kidz Zone and live music from the Boneheadz.
