CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

A man was shot while visiting friends on Cleveland's east side on Monday afternoon.

It happened around 5 p.m. in the 4000 block of East 104th Street.

The preliminary investigation reveals the victim was visiting friends when shots were fired.

Police tell 19 Action News the victim was found lying in the a driveway, and appeared to have multiple gunshot wounds to his torso.

He was rushed to Metro. His condition is not known at this time.

Anyone with information is being asked to contact the Fourth District Detective Bureau at 216-623-5418.
