Border Patrol agents arrest 5 sex offenders

TUCSON, AZ (CBS5) -

Border Patrol agents arrested five convicted sex offenders this week who all committed the crimes while in the U.S. illegally, Customs and Border Protection said.

CBP said the suspects were from Mexico and Guatemala and had convictions including rape, sodomy and sexual abuse of a minor.

They were processed for prosecution and removal proceedings.
