COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -

A Fox Elementary third grade team has earned the Best Movie (Grade 3-5) category for "A Day in the Life of Being Brave" video production from the Georgia Movie Academy.

Fox students portray acts of bravery to show others how important it is to face challenges and to be courageous by helping others.

The digital, storytelling, project-based learning opportunity allows students to work in teams to produce a theme-based, standards-based, three minute video on a topic of choice. Teachers also coach the students and earn professional learning credit for their role.

The competition is sponsored by the Educational Technology Centers in the state of Georgia for K-12 students.
