No vote on new RiverWalk bathroom

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Columbus council has tried again, but failed to approve a controversial item for the RiverWalk.

Not enough council members were present for Tuesday's vote on a $244,000 bathroom for the Martin Pedestrian Bridge, also known as the 14th Street Bridge.

The actual cost for the city would be just under $50,000, with the Georgia Department of Transportation picking up the rest.
