Kodak expansion to bring 40 new jobs to Columbus

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Kodak is expanding again in the Fountain City, and the company says they are creating 40 new jobs.

Kodak broke ground on a 16,000 square foot facility in Columbus in 2008.

Now, the company is making some improvements to the facility to add a new production line and will be bringing in their Sonora plate technology.

Kodak says increasing production in Columbus will help the city's economic growth.

The 40 new jobs can be expected in the Fountain City by next year.
