COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -

The Delta Sigma Theta Sorority of Columbus hosted a political forum Thursday night with candidates from local and state races on the panel. 

Some of the hot issues raised by the audience with WTVM's Roslyn Giles as moderator included across the board budget cuts versus prioritized budget cuts, construction on a controversial 244,000 bathroom on the RiverWalk and South Columbus economic development.

The races represented includes school board, mayoral, city council and state representative district 137.
