DOTHAN, AL (WSFA) -

Dothan police say a man has died after being struck by a vehicle on Ross Clark Circle Sunday.

Leiver Jouse Perez Morales died at noon on Sunday after being transported to Southeast Alabama Medical Center earlier in the morning.

Police responded to the 4400 block of Ross Clark Circle at 1:15 a.m. Sunday. An initial investigation determined a man had stepped into the path of traffic.

The driver of the vehicle wasn't injured, and there were no signs the driver was impaired, according to police.
