COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Hannan Elementary Magnet School in Columbus got quite technical Monday night. The school hosted its 10th annual Tech Expo.
Students were able to show off their technological knowledge with the help of projects they've been working on so far this school year. The expo is a great way to show just how much technology goes into our everyday life.
"The kids use this technology, we use it all the time to make projects. Projects are directly in line with the curriculum. Everything they are doing in lab everyday is something that they are learning in the classroom as well," says Shannon Hustick, Technology Coordinator and Event Organizer.
Hustick says many of the student's know more about technology than most of their parents. She says students also take part in district, state, and international competitions as well.
