Renowned Chattahoochee Valley philanthropist passes away

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -

One of the most well-known philanthropists in the Chattahoochee Valley passed away overnight.

Sue Marie Turner, who was married to retired WC Bradley Company chairman William Turner, died on May 8 at her home in Columbus.

She was 84 years old.

Mrs. Turner and her family also helped launched the Pastoral Institute four decades ago. She is survived by five children, 21 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
