MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

Relay for life is a non competitive walk that raises money and awareness for the fight against cancer. During the night people will be walking in honor or in memory of friends and family members.

Montgomery Metro Relay for Life at the Faulkner University Football Stadium was originally scheduled for May 9, but due to weather conditions has been rescheduled to May 30.

During the ceremonies, which will begin at 6 p.m. and at 9 p.m., a very emotional luminary ceremony will allow family members and friends who have lost loved ones, remember them. The field will light up the field and bleachers with candle lit bags and turn down all the lights. It is then followed up by a Glow in the Dark Lap to honor the survivors. 

This event will be an all night party with food, entertainment, games and events for kids, dancing, live DJ.
