Manziel already impacting Cleveland Browns organization

TYLER, TX (KLTV) - Well it didn't take long, the Cleveland Browns are already feeling positive effects of drafting Johnny Manziel.

since Johnny Football was selected at number 22 over in the first round of the NFL Draft on Thursday night, the Browns have sold more than 2,000 season tickets.

Manziel was drafted lower than he expected no doubt, but he's had all the right things to say. That includes during Friday's introduction ceremony in Cleveland.

The Heisman Trophy winning quarterback admits he must take his game to another level, but Manziel took some time to appreciate his journey to the NFL.

"What a moment it is for me, my hometown, Tyler Texas, for A&M, for everybody that has been involved in my life," Manziel said. "I'm so thankful for everyone back in Kerrville that helped mold me into the person I am today."

Manziel added," My goal right now is to come in and work extremely hard and try and get better as a football player. I feel like the bigger the stage, the more energized, the more passionate I am. Its great to have the bright lights, big stage, big moments. Its what you live for being a quarterback."
