Ft. Benning to host military job fair Wednesday, May 14

FORT BENNING, GA (WTVM) -

CivilianJobs.com, where America's military connects with civilian careers, is holding a job fair at Fort Benning in Columbus, Georgia this Wednesday, May 14, 2014 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

More than 45 military-friendly companies will be present including a mix of Fortune 500 and local companies.

The job fair will take place in Building 128 on Morrison Avenue in Ft. Benning.

Job seekers are strongly encouraged to pre-register to help facilitate an effective pre-matching process. Attendees may pre-register at this link: CivilianJobs.com Job Fairs.

The first 300 attendees to sign in at the job fair will receive a coupon for a Chic-fil-A sandwich donated by the Macon Road Chick-fil-A in Columbus, Georgia.

"CivilianJobs.com is pleased to host this job fair to assist transitioning military and veterans in connecting with civilian employers at no cost to the job seeker," said Jake Hutchings, Director of CivilianJobs.com. "One of the key benefits of CivilianJobs.com's military job fairs is that they take place on or near military bases. This brings more of the valuable transitioning-veteran demographic to vie for military-friendly companies."
