The search for a missing Georgia woman has come to an end.

According to the Putnam County Sheriff the body of 87-year-old Shirley Dermond has been found.

Dermond went missing two weeks ago from her Putnam County home.

The decapitated body of her husband, 88-year-old Russell Dermond, was found in their garage earlier this month.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation had been offering a $20,000 reward for information in the case, and had just begun putting up billboards around the state including one in Columbus

News Leader 9 will bring you the latest details in the investigation as they become available.
