PHENIX CITY, AL (WTVM) -

May is National Older Americans Month, and so local senior citizens headed down to the Riverwalk for a special tour made just for them.

The 10th annual Senior Riverwalk and Golf Cart Tour Health Fair was held at the Phenix City amphitheater. More than 40 healthcare providers, physicians, hospitals and organizations were there with information and health screenings.

"It's an opportunity to come out, enjoy the sunshine and talk to more than forty healthcare providers. They're here to answer any questions that they might have," said organizer Pam Fair.

Seniors were also given a tour of the Riverwalk on golf carts so they could see the white water rafting course.
