Lee Co. man accused of vehicular homicide pleads not guilty

A Lee County, Ala. man is accused of vehicular homicide, and his attorney has entered a not guilty plea in court on Friday, May 23.

Collier Anne Byers, 22, was killed in an Aug. 18 accident where her boyfriend, Parker Ivey, was the driver.

According to State Troopers, Ivey was intoxicated on the drive home from a baseball game in Atlanta when his jeep left the interstate in Lee County, overturned and rolled down an embankment killing Byers.

Ivey was not injured in the crash. He is currently out on bond. A trial date has not been set.
