Columbus Police are currently looking for Vantavis "Omar" Brown in connection to a series of business burglaries.

Authorities obtained a warrant after linking him to a break-in at Garden Fresh Produce on Buena Vista Road.  He reportedly stole the cash register from this establishment.  A detective said Brown left behind DNA evidence which they studied in a lab and later matched to him.

Police describe Brown as a well-known criminal.

He is 32-years-old and described as 5'8" and about 160 lbs with tattoos on his neck and arms.  Anyone with information about his location can give an anonymous tip to 911.
