The second annual Pete Minor Father-Child Basketball Camp is now open to father and son duos who want to spend more time playing basketball together.

The one-day camp focuses on the fundamentals of basketball like shooting, handling, defense and passing.

Shannon Minor created the camp in memory of his father Pete Minor. Shannon is a NKU and Greater Cincinnati Basketball Hall-of-Famer. His father Pete passed away in 2011.

Camp participants will receive a t-shirt, a basketball, dinner and a photo with their father figure.

Father figures will have a Q&A session with a former college basketball player or college coach.

All proceeds of the camp will be donated to Kicks for Kids.

The camp takes place Saturday, June 14 from 4-8 p.m. at the Dixie Heights High School in Crestview Hills, Ky. Admission is $50 for one father and one child. Additional children cost $25 each. The price includes dinner.
