Goodwill Career Center to host job fairs for St. Francis Hospital, The Methodist Home

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -

The Goodwill Career Center in Midland is hosting two career fairs for local job seekers.  

Both job fairs will be held at the Columbus East Career Center, located at 6707 Flatrock Court in Midland, Ga. Applicants can drop off their resumes and schedule an appointment at any Goodwill location in Columbus.

St. Francis Hospital will host a job fair Saturday, May 31. St. Francis is currently hiring Environmental Specialists. One year of related experience in a hospital or similar environment is required. Full-time and part-time positions are available. To schedule an interview, please submit your resume to any area Goodwill Career Center. Interviews will be held May 31 by appointment only. 

The Methodist Home will also host a job fair on Tuesday, June 3 by appointment only. The Methodist Home is seeking Child Care Counselors and a Lifeguard.  To schedule an interview, please submit your resume highlighting related experience to any area Goodwill Career Center. Child Care Counselors must have a bachelor's degree in the social science field and/or two years of experience working with children. Candidate must be able to work evenings and at least two weekends a month. Lifeguards must have current certifications and flexible schedules.

Goodwill's mission is to help individuals with disabilities or disadvantages here in our community to secure sustainable employment through education, training, work experience and career placement services.  All of these programs, including job fairs, are made possible through your donations of gently used clothing and household goods that are sold at Goodwill Retail Stores.
