(CNN) - The USA Today is reporting that Panera is planning to announce that it will soon dump all artificial additives from its food menu by 2016.

That means no artificial colors, flavors, sweeteners and preservatives.

In a phone interview with USA Today, the founder and CEO of Panera says "I want to serve food that I want to eat."

According to the website, Panera operates 1,800 company-owned and franchise-operated bakery-cafes in 45 states and in Ontario, Canada.
