Kids in the Petal School District will enjoy meals during the summer break thanks to a program funded by the USDA.

The meals are free to all children up to age eighteen. Adults are served for a $3.00 charge. The program provides a way for students to maintain proper nutrition through the summer break and runs through August 1st.

Forrest County and Hattiesburg schools also participate in the feeding program.
