TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

Two more south Toledo carryouts were terrorized by some of WTOL and Fox Toledo's most wanted armed robbers. These two are adding to the growing list of similar crimes detectives are investigating.

At the Toledo Police headquarters it is a race to solve these crimes before they strike again. Detectives are trying to determine if these are all related or if a group of copy cats are now hitting the carry outs.

The June 6 weekend armed robberies line up with those in the past. Video from a robbery last week shows what has happened in around a dozen of these similar crimes.

On Friday Saveway Market Red and White was hit. Two armed and masked suspects ran in demanding cash. They had to deal with not only clerks but customers this time. One suspect punched the manager in the face when he paused to open the register. Then, another one.

On Saturday In and Out on Key Street near Heatherdowns was the target. The masked armed robbers got away with cash and cigarettes.

"The robberies that occurred this weekend, we are looking into seeing if they are related to the other robberies that occurred recently and it's a high priority here at the Toledo department and we will get to the bottom of it here and we have very good officers working very hard on this," said Sergeant Joe Heffernan.

Toledo police are asking for your help. If you have any information on these two robberies from over the weekend or the past you are urged to call Crimestopper at 419-255-1111. You can remain anonymous.
