“Heavy metals, chemicals, pesticides, chlorine, BPA and other toxic chemicals are found in household cleaners, in the food we eat and the water we drink, our clothing and bedding just to name a few. We now know that these chemicals can and do accumulate at the cellular level, and this accumulation is having a profound impact on the health of our children.”
The popular natural food and vitamin store announces partnership with BIORAY kids to educate public on growing threat of hidden chemical toxins lurking in commonly used products. “Your Child & Environmental Toxins” lecture series open to public with emphasis on prevention, health advice, and release of remarkable new study results with BIORAY kids products.

Due to popular demand, Lassen’s Natural Food Stores has announced that expert on environmental toxicity Stephanie Ray, has been scheduled to make two in-store appearances in June at Lassen’s Natural Foods Bakersfield and Ventura locations.

The timing of Ray’s appearance could not be better given recent reports of dangerous toxins and chemicals found in household items possibly being linked with a myriad of illness and health hazards. With recent headlines stirring debate of chemical usage, the state of Minnesota became the first by passing laws to ban the controversial chemical Tryclosan. Tryclosan, a chemical found in soaps and hand sanitizers has been linked with developmental defects and liver toxicity- and is but one of hundreds of commonly used chemicals found in popular, commonly used household products that contain potentially harmful chemical toxins. The culmination of daily exposure to chemicals like Tryclosan and others like it may be negatively impacting the health of Americans.

The near epidemic levels of these chemicals led to the development of the BIORAY kids product line. As one of the few over the counter products aimed at protecting children from common toxins, the BIORAY kids product line has seen steady growth among parents looking for ways to support their children’s daily detoxification needs.

Ray, a longtime supporter and advocate for children’s health issues, has been at the forefront of many ground breaking studies regarding children’s health and as a grant sponsor for Generation Rescue, realized that the increase of toxins in today’s environment is having a detrimental impact on children’s health- and with that insight-a new product line was born.

“Heavy metals, chemicals, pesticides, chlorine, BPA and other toxic chemicals are found in household cleaners, in the food we eat and the water we drink, our clothing and bedding just to name a few. We now know that these chemicals can and do accumulate at the cellular level, and this accumulation is not only effecting, but having a profound impact on the health of our children,” said Ray.

Early reviews of the product line have been overwhelmingly positive, with one parent hailing the positive effects one of the BIORAY kids line products has made with her daughter, “She used to wake up randomly crying or yelling for no reason. We started giving her the NDF Happy and this stopped. She has also stopped being such a picky eater.”

Ray is scheduled to make her first appearance at Lassen’s Natural Foods Bakersfield location at 4308 California Avenue on June 17 and appearing the following day, June 18, at Lassen’s Natural Foods Ventura location at 4071 East Main Street. Discussing the topic “Your Child and Environmental Toxins,” the series of free lectures are both scheduled for 6pm start times. Times and dates may be subject to change.
