Phenix City police seeking person of interest in fraud investigation

PHENIX CITY, AL (WTVM) -

Police say the card was stolen out of the victim's purse at St. Francis Hospital earlier this month and charges have been made since it's been missing.

Authorities are looking to identify this woman seen in pictures from the surveillance video at the Family Dollar on Highway 431 South in Phenix City.

Investigators tell us this transaction racked up over $500 in fraudulent charges. Police say the suspect is believed to have used the card at several other retail location throughout the city.

If you recognize the woman in the photos, you are asked to call the Phenix City Police Department at 334.448. 2841 and ask for Investigator Clark.
