CEO of Columbus Regional resigns

Chuck Stark has resigned from his position as CEO of Columbus Regional. Chuck Stark has resigned from his position as CEO of Columbus Regional.

The CEO of Columbus Regional Heath has resigned.

Chuck Stark began his tenure at Columbus Regional in February 2012. He succeeded Larry Sanders, who retired from the position after 30 years with the organization.

COO Scott Hill has been appointed as interim CEO effective immediately. Hill will also continue as COO.

Before Columbus Regional, Stark held top leadership positions in healthcare institutions in Ohio, Texas, and Virginia. Under his leadership Columbus Regional rebranded and upgrades were made to Midtown Medical Center and other facilities.

"I believe this is the right time to transition to a new Chief Executive Officer," said Stark in a press release. "It has been a privilege to have had the opportunity to lead Columbus Regional Health through a dynamic time in healthcare, and I know the institution has a very bright future. I thank the directors, the management team, our medical and administrative staff for their support and confidence during my tenure."
