Henrico Police have arrested and charged a woman with DUI related to a crash that knocked out power in the East End.

Officers say the accident around 8:15 p.m. Friday involved two cars and ended with one of those vehicles hitting a power pole at the intersection of Laburnum and Nine Mile Road. That pole and live power lines landed on a third vehicle causing it to catch fire. The impact caused a transformer to blow, knocking out power to hundreds of customers.

Officials say two people were taken to the hospital, but are expected to be okay. Officers arrested Evon Nichole Holloway and charged her with DUI. Police say this is Holloway's second offense in five years.

The entire intersection was closed all night while Dominion Power worked to make repairs. The crash remains under investigation.
