AUBURN, AL (WTVM) -

Three Auburn teens have been arrested and charged with burglary and theft of property.

On Tuesday, June 17 at approximately 10:40 p.m. officers responded to a burglary in progress call in the 800 block of Lunsford Drive.

Responding officers arrived on the scene and determined that two residences were unlawfully entered and that property was taken from one of them. Officers searched the area and recovered a Flat Screen Television, valued at $700.00 outside one of the residences that had apparently been taken in the burglary.

Three suspects were contacted and detained by police in the vicinity of the burglaries and where the stolen television was recovered. An electronic device taken in one of the burglaries was also located in the possession of one of the teens. Police determined they were responsible for the burglaries and took them into custody.

On Wednesday June 18 the Auburn Police Division arrested Raishown D. Dawson, 19, Sharif M. Buchannon, 18, and Demarrius T. Bridges, 18, on  felony warrants charging them each with burglary second degree, burglary third degree, and  theft of property third degree.

They were all transported to the Lee County Jail and each will be eligible for a $9,000 bond.
