COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -

Some star-studded performances are expected in Columbus at 8 p.m. tonight, June 20, at the "Fantasia and Friends" concert.

American Idol winner Fantasia is the headliner at the Columbus Civic Center tonight and her opening acts stopped by our radio partner, Foxie 105's studios today.

George Tandy is burning up the charts with his song "March" and our award-winning, Hometown Girl, D'ambra Renee is performing as well.

We were there as K-Ci and Jojo, of r&b hit group "Jodeci," got ready for the show. We asked how their music has stayed relevant for two decades.

Singer K-Ci Hailey says, "You gotta love what you do with yourself and with your career and keep God first of course and just like I said if you love what you're doing and you're having fun doing it there shouldn't be no complaining"

K-Ci confirmed he and headliner Fantasia are first cousins and very close.
