ATLANTA, GA (WALB) -

Cousins Tadric Jackson and Chris Bolden have reunited to play basketball for Georgia Tech.

Jackson, the Gatorade State Player of the Year, is expected to earn immediate playing time for Brian Gregory's team. Bolden started 14 games for the Yellow Jackets, scoring just over five points per game. The duo represents the only players from South Georgia on the team.

"I'm excited for us, you know, to bring the south to Georgia Tech basketball," Bolden said. "It's going to be like a brotherly feel,"

Bolden grew up in Tifton before heading to North Gwinnett High School. Jackson grew up in Turner County before ending up with the Blue Devils. Despite coming right out of high school, Bolden is confident in his cousin's abilities.

"He is going to have some learning to do," Bolden said. "But he's ready, as far as playing-wise."

Thomasville's Robert Carter transferred to Maryland from the program in early-June.
