(RNN) - A difficult clue Thursday on Final Jeopardy got a creative "question" from a contestant.

Ari Voukydis, a comedy writer from Los Angeles, was apparently stumped when asked (at the 17-minute mark), "In 1891 this European said, 'Perhaps my factories will put an end to war sooner than your Congresses.'"

Voukydis answered "Who is this handsome gentleman?" with an arrow pointing up at him.

Funny, but wrong.

Defending champion Jennifer Blanton entered the last round in a commanding lead with $19,300. Voukydis trailed with $8,800, while Patti Youngblood was in third with $3,000.

No one got the correct answer; Youngblood guessed Carnegie and Blanton didn't write anything. The champ won again with $18,600 and a three-day total of $57,000.

By the way, the correct response was, "Who is Alfred Nobel?"
