COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Some former Columbus High School students attending a class reunion in Weracoba Park returned to their parked cars to find them broken into.
The incidents happened on June 28 at the corner of 18th Avenue and Rhodes Street in the park. The first victim says someone shattered the front passenger window of his Ford Explorer and stole his Samsung Galaxy S4.
The second victim says the front passenger window of her Honda Civic was also shattered and her purse was missing. She later found her purse in the bushes nearby with nothing stolen.
The third victim says she found the front passenger door of her Jeep Grand Cherokee slightly ajar and her wallet missing. She later found her wallet in the bushes near her car emptied of its cash. She says her door must have been unlocked.
There were no known witnesses to any of these burglaries.
