Freedom Fest at the National Infantry Museum
This second annual event will be held at the NIM on Friday, July 4, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. with numerous activities and refreshments for all ages. Click here for more information.

July 4th Patriotic Celebration and Fireworks Show at the Phenix City Amphitheater
Concert begins at 7 p.m. and will end with a fireworks show at 9:15 p.m. Admission is free. Local musicians will perform patriotic and contemporary praise and worship music. Fireworks will be shot from the Dillingham Street Bridge, which will be closed all day for set up. Amphitheater is located at 508 Dillingham St. in Phenix City.

Thunder on Upton's Lake in Talbot County, Ga.
Fireworks, live music, food and fun for the entire family. Free watermelon is provided, and other food and drinks can be purchased. Fireworks begin at dark and usually last for 40 minutes or longer.  From Ellerslie turn right on Highway 315 toward Talbotton. Travel 9 miles and the lake is on the left. Or the address on GPS is 3764 Ellerslie HWY 315.

Annual Spectacular Boat and Jetski Parade on Lake Harding
Begins at 10 a.m. at Two Tree Island, and will circle the lake in single file. There will be over 100 people participating with each boat and jetski decorated in patriotic colors. This year's Grand Marshal will be Tommy Wages, who will turn 85-years-old on July 4. Lake Harding is 15 miles north of Columbus.

Springer 4th of July Parade
Begins at 10 a.m. at the Springer Opera House. Parade route will travel down 10th St. towards the river, right on Broadway and circle back around the block back to Springer. 

Callaway Gardens July 4th Star Spangled Beach Party
The celebration will begin early and last well into the night at Robin Lake Beach. Highlights include beach activities, live music - headlined by the Swingin' Medallions, the FSU Flying High Circus and our annual Fireworks Extravaganza. July 4th Celebration on the Lake
There will be games, a watermelon eating contest, and educational boat tours on Lake Walter F. George at Florence Marina State Park, Route 1, Box 36 Omaha, Ga. 31821. Make reservations early for campsites and cabins. $5 plus $5 parking. 229-838-4706.

July 5th Celebration at Lakepoint State Park
Come celebrate Independence Day and the 75th Anniversary of Lakepoint State Park on Saturday, July 5 at Lakepoint State Park Resort in Eufaula, Ala.! Vendors, food and children's activities kick off at noon. There will be a kids' parade at 4 p.m., music at 5 p.m. and a fireworks display at 9 p.m., plus much more!
