West Point man arrested in Auburn on felony charges of credit card fraud

AUBURN, AL (WTVM) -

Steven R. Neidler, 32, from West Point, Ga. has beenarrested in Auburn, Ala. on felony warrants charging him with three counts ofFraudulent Use of a Credit/Debit Card.

Auburn Police were informed in June that an unknownindividual used three of a victim's stolen credit cards to make purchasestotaling over $900.00 at a business in the Auburn area.

Detectives developed Neidler as a suspect after he wascaptured on video surveillance using one of the stolen credit cards to makepurchases at a business in the 800 block of E. Glenn Ave. on June 9, 2014.

Investigation also determined that Neidler was using twoadditional credit cards belonging to the victim to make purchases at a businessin the 1700 block of S. College St. on May 16, 2014. 

Police obtained warrants charging Neidler with Fraudulent Use of a Credit/Debit Card, and he was placed under arrest while being heldin the Lee County Jail on unrelated charges.

He was transported again to the Lee County Jail, and will beeligible for a $9,000 bond.
