Fostoria man dead after falling into reservoir

FOSTORIA, OH (Toledo News Now) -

A 21-year-old Fostoria man has died after falling into a reservoir Wednesday evening.

Fostoria dispatch received a call around 6:15 p.m. Wednesday from someone saying that a person had fallen into the water at Fostoria Reservoir #2.

According to witnesses at the scene, 21-year-old Michael Enright was fishing at the reservoir and fell into the water from the shore. One witness attempted to go into the water, but couldn't find Enright.

Fostoria Fire conducted a search by boat and recovered Enright shortly after 7 p.m. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Enright was transported to the Lucas County Coroner's Office for examination. The cause of death remains under investigation.

    Since September, employees have been given three options:  Get the flu shot, get an approved religious or medical exemption, or leave Essentia. At least 50 people have lost their jobs thus far.
