See what happens when a fan messes with Tim McGraw's jeans

ATLANTA, GA (WAVE) - A video gaining traction online Friday shows country music star Tim McGraw apparently swatting at a fan at a recent show.

The clip went up on Youtube on Thursday, and it shows the hunky crooner in tight jeans and a black tank top singing "Truck Yeah."

Several fans are close enough to the catwalk to reach out and touch McGraw, but one in particular apparently was trying to rip his jeans, a rep told Billboard Magazine.

"At the end of the night during the encore, Tim was singing out in the audience and someone firmly grabbed onto his leg and wouldn't let go," the rep told Billboard. "He instinctively swatted to try and keep them from ripping his jeans (which they succeeded at doing), and so he could get to more fans who were trying to slap hands with him before the end of the show. He didn't know who had grabbed him and was trying to keep his pants from being torn."
