Georgia voters hit the polls Tuesday, July 22, to cast their vote in the primary runoff election, and the results are in:

U.S. Senate seat

61.38%   David Perdue (R)   1,912 votes
38.62%   Jack Kingston (R)   1,203 votes

State School Superintendent

50.58%    Michael Buck (R)      1,307 votes
49.42%    Richard Woods (R)   1,277 votes

51.70%    Valerie Wilson (D)    836 votes
48.30%    Alisha Morgan (D)    781 votes

Muscogee County Board of Education - District 2

80.52%  John Thomas   1,029 votes
19.48%    John Wells        249 votes

Harris County Board of Education – District 2

52.74%   Morgan Marlowe   491 votes
47.26%    Timothy Edgar (Incumbent) 440 votes

Harris County Commissioner – District 2*

53.61%    James Woods   468 votes
46.39%    Andrew Sivell    405 votes

*This seat won't become official until the November election, but the Republican runoff victor will be running unopposed in that election.
