MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

Principal positions are now filled at the last two schools with vacancies in the Montgomery Public School System for the 2014-15 school year.

The MPS Board named Brewbaker Primary Assistant Principal Courtney Giles-Brown to become the principal at Highland Avenue Elementary School. Booker T. Washington Magnet High Assistant Principal Marsha Baugh will move to the same position at Montgomery Technical Education Center (MTEC).

Giles-Brown has been employed with MPS for 12 years. She's held positions including teacher, reading coach, literacy specialist, ESL facilitator and character education coordinator. She's also served on multiple district and state committees.

Baugh has taught secondary history for 17 years at a number of MPS schools.

Earlier in July, the board named longtime MPS administrator Dwight Brooks as principal of Dannelly Elementary, and McKee Middle School Sixth Grade Principal Jessietta Crawford Thomas as principal of Highland Gardens Elementary.
