Florence couple leaves baby outside hotel, police say

FLORENCE, AL (WAFF) - A couple faces charges after Florence police say they left a baby in a stroller outside of a hotel.

Emily Andrews and Nicholas Tarro have been charged with domestic violence and reckless endangerment.

Officers went to the Holiday Inn Express on Etta Gray Drive on Wednesday and found a 3-month-old in a stroller in the parking lot.

Investigators say the couple were in their hotel room, intoxicated.

The child is in state custody.

It's the 15th year of the event and representatives of Mercedes Benz says that this year's raffle is its biggest yet. "To date, we've raised over six-hundred thousand for the Heart Association.
