Phoebe Sumter to host 3rd Annual Children's Health Conference

AMERICUS, GA (WTVM) -

In an effort to promote healthy lifestyles for the youth in our community, Phoebe Sumter will host its 3rd Annual Children's Health Conference on Saturday, August 9 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Americus-Sumter South Campus Gym Egypt.

The event is for children ages 7-14, and all children must have adult supervision for this event.

There will be free health screenings, presentations, music and games and a number of giveaways. School supplies and other items will be given away, and there will also be contests in dancing, jump rope and hula hoop, and a healthy lunch will be served.

There will also be a number of vendors on hand, including DFACS, WellCare, Peach State and more!
