Houston Co. Sheriff Republican candidate to be decided Monday

HOUSTON CO., AL (WSFA) -

The Houston County Republican Committee will meet on Monday July 28, to elect a candidate for to be on the November election ballot for Sheriff.

The cut-off date was Thursday at 5 p.m. for those who wanted to submit resumes for the position. After this deadline six people had made their submissions. Those, in alphabetical order, were Randall K. "Randy" Anderson, William Jeffrey "Jeff" Carlisle, Benny Dobbs, Carlton L. "Bubba" Ott Jr., Kenneth Robinson and Donald J. Valenza.

Each of these candidates will be invited to the interviewing process to be conducted by the executive committee on Monday.
