Police search for Opelika Circle K robbery suspects

OPELIKA, AL (WTVM) -

Police are searching for two suspects after an armed robbery occurred at a gas station on 2nd Ave. in Opelika, Ala. on Thursday, July 24.

The incident was caught on surveillance.

According to police, the two suspects entered the Circle K located at 511 2nd Ave. at around 2:30 a.m. with T-shirts wrapped around their faces. One of the suspects pointed a gun at the employee on duty, and demanded money from the cash register.

The suspects fled the scene with $50 in cash.

There were no injuries reported, and no known suspects at this time. The case remains under investigation.
