Auburn man arrested after traffic stop

Auburn Police have arrested a man for disorderly conduct, drug charges and for having a pistol illegally after a traffic stop.

The traffic stop happened on Wednesday around 10:40 p.m. in the 1700 block of south College Street. 41-year-old Recco Raymoine Cobb was occupying a red four door hummer when he was pulled over and found to be with possession of illegal narcotics, drug paraphernalia and a stolen handgun.

Cobb is being charged with disorderly conduct, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana first degree and certain persons forbidden to possess a pistol.

Cobb has since been transported to the Lee County Detention Facility where his bond was set for $14,300. This investigation is ongoing and further charges are pending.
