A Thomaston, Ga. man has been arrested after authorities say he intentionally sought out sex with a minor.

According to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, Benjamin Craig Standard, Jr. 35, of 230 Reid Place Rd. in Thomaston,  traveled to Macon, Ga. to meet and have sex with someone he believed to be a 14-year-old girl. The arrest came after a two week investigation involving undercover "chatting" with Standard.

Standard was arrested on one charge of Online Enticement of a Minor. He was taken to Bibb County Jail. He has since been released on an $11,000 bond, according to the jail's website.

The Bibb County Sheriff's Office assisted the GBI in the arrest.
