For the first time in nearly four years, the Arizona Diamondbacks are nine games over .500. And every win, it seems, has a different player leading the way. Reliever J.J. Hoover filled that role in Tuesday night's 5-4 victory over the Chicago White Sox.

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Welcome back!

Arizona Football coach Rich Rodriguez begins his 3rd season at Arizona with pretty much the exact coaching staff he had when he started Year #1 in 2012.

With the exception of offensive line coach Jim Michalczik and tight ends coach Charlie Ragle, the rest of the staff came to Wildcat Country right after Rich Rod landed here in November 2011.

As Rodriguez builds his program he has been fortunate to have consistency at the key coordinator positions with co-offensive leaders Rod Smith and Calvin Magee and defensive coordinator Jeff Casteel all entering their 3rd seasons at UA.

Smith is in the midst of his first real Fall Camo trying to find a quarterback out a multiple candidate pool while Magee does not have the luxury of veteran running backs such as Ka'deem Carey and Daniel Jenkins this season

The depth on Casteel's defense continues to be bolstered but he must groom a new middle linebacker to replace Jake Fischer and the Wildcats still don't have that speed pass rusher of the edge who can make Pac-12 quarterbacks sweat.

Still the Wildcats look to be a team that could win eight games for a 3rd straight season and the continuity on the coaching staff is a big reason for that.
