(WTVM) - The aunt of a man killed on Gleason Avenue stood in front of a judge Monday in Recorder's Court facing drug charges.
Auderey Stinson's case was dismissed Monday due to lack of prosecution.
She was arrested Friday night on an outstanding warrant for an imitation-controlled substance as police searched her home on Gleason Avenue.
Police also tell us they found more than $1,600 worth of drugs, including suspected crack cocaine and marijuana.
Stinson found her nephew Robert Brooks dead in her home on Aug. 8, the same day she was arrested. Police say a red car pulled up to Stinson's residence early Friday morning and fired 50 shots into the home. Brooks was shot once in the chest.
No suspect has been identified at this time.
