COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Many are mourning the loss of actor Robin Williams, who died from an apparent suicide.
Law enforcement officials say Williams was found dead in his California home north of San Francisco on Aug. 11. They say the 63-year-old Oscar winner apparently died from asphyxia.
Williams' press agent said he had recently been battling severe depression.
Williams won three Golden Globes throughout his career for "Good Morning, Vietnam," ''Mrs. Doubt fire" and "The Fisher King."
Robin Williams touched many lives, including the life of our very own meteorologist Greg Majewski who met the actor during his USO tour in 2007.
He says it was one of the most memorable shows he has ever seen.
